Dancey Dancey

We got an assignment today that involves choreographing and performing a 4 minute dance/theatre piece that incorporates several keywords (that tend to be against our usual 'type').

My keywords are:
powerful
towering
sustained
muscular
animalistic
raunchy

I'm already playing with ideas, but first things first, I have to find the perfect piece of music for it.

Right now, the top contender is the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion.

It's tricky because it has to be all instrumental, no lyrics allowed. I've got a few other possibilities to check out, I'll have to load them all up on my ipod and listen to them in between classes tomorrow.

It's gonna be a busy week!
